Melissa and her family moved back to Texas a couple months ago. Woo hoo! It has been so fun having cousins nearby (and can't wait to have Katie and her family here in a couple weeks)!

We got to have Hailey and Makayla for a weekend while Melissa flew back to Tennessee to run a marathon (and Cory and the big girls drove to surprise her). We had so much fun. It was like we were playing house. :)
But man. Despite all the heartache I've been through over the years because I couldn't have more babies, there is something to be said for having self-sufficient kids! It was a challenge getting back into that mode when we've been out of it for so long. But we seriously loved it.
And you know? I'm good with no more babies. I'll just enjoy, love on, and spoil all my nieces and friends' babies. :)

It's funny how much little kids need that you don't realize once you've gotten used to older ones doing it themselves. I can hardly wait to REALLY get to that stage. Enjoy spoiling those nieces!
Abby has grown up so much since last year! She's blossoming into a beautiful young woman!
